My perfume collection

My first blog post is going to be about my collection of perfumes. Anybody who knows me is aware that I loooove quirky perfume bottles. I keep the bottles after they are empty as I just can't bear to part with them.
The above picture shows a small part of my vast collection. In my opinion, perfumes have the ability to create that final touch, making you feel confident as you leave your house. As you can see I am of a fan of Marc Jacobs perfume in particular. I have every perfume he has created thus far. Not only are the bottles fab, they smell amazing too. I'm now going to discuss my personal favourites...
Dot by Marc Jacobs is my perfume of choice at the moment. It launched last August and I've wanted it ever since. As my blog might suggest, I adore anything ladybird related. So, obviously this bottle just had to be added to my already extensive collection. I was disappointed after many blatant hints not to receive it from anybody as a Christmas present, however, my amazing mother bought it for me as a surprise when I was having a bad week. She left it on my pillow and it genuinely made my week when I discovered it. She actually bought the gift set for me, which includes a body lotion and shower gel... I am in love!!
Before Dot stole my heart, Lola by Marc Jacobs was my go to fragrance. Again the bottle was what first caught my eye... but the actual smell is gorgeous too. It has quite a strong floral scent. I know some people prefer more subtle scents, I'm the opposite. I love a scent that really stands out. I also got this in the gift set which came with a lovely mini version which I can carry around in my handbag. The set was such a bargain at only €28.50 in Harvey Nichols, including body lotion and shower gel.
Giorgio Armani, Armani Code- This perfume is a classic in my opinion. I have this bottle years and am trying to save it for as long as possibly because I really can't afford to invest in it anytime soon. I can't even describe the smell of it but I've gotten so many compliments when I wear this scent. When buying perfume as a present, this is generally the one I always feel is a safe purchase. I have yet to find somebody who isn't a fan.
Chanel, Coco Madamoiselle- This is another bottle I've had for many years as it's nearly empty. My Dad bought this for me as a birthday present years ago and I don't think I really appreciated at the time quite how expensive it is. I recently bought it for my best friend Fiona for her 21st and the 50ml bottle was €80 in boots!! If I'd known back then it's cost, I may have used it a little bit more sparingly. The scent to put it simply, is expensive. This perfume always makes me feel so much more elegant so I wear it to special events.
Live by Jennifer Lopez is a more budget friendly favourite of mine. This has a lively floral scent and I love how the bottle looks like an old fashioned potion bottle! Boots always have deals on this perfume so you'd never have to spend more than €20 on the small bottle of this. This is probably my third or fourth bottle of it as I use it so often.
This is the final perfume I'll discuss. It's called Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears. Again, this is a perfume to buy when on a budget. This was bought in Gran Canaria during the summer for about €15 euro! You wouldn't have to pay much more for it in Ireland. I love most Britney Spears perfumes. As you can see in my first picture I have both Curious and Fantasy aswell. However, at the moment, Midnight Fantasy just seems to have a fresher scent for me.

Apologies for the long first post... I just felt my perfume collection deserved its moment in the spotlight!
